Proposal Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

The Proposal Cybersecurity Solutions Architect works with other team members in proposal development and drafting the translation of technical requirements into a solution vision of high-level business and/or IT system specifications which presents to the customer EIS’s best solutions on how to solve customer challenges and develop a proposal with high probability of win.
Responsibilities Designing technical solutions to complex Cybersecurity and IT requirements across the federal government, including DOD, Intelligence Community, and Civilian Agencies. Lead technical portions of the capture and proposal processes. Architect compliant and compelling solutions, write articulate proposal responses, and be able to orally present such solutions with high level of confidence. Understand landscape of potential cybersecurity solutions available in the market, and engage with partners and vendors to determine optimal solutions via alternatives analysis methods. Integrate new and innovative tools and processes into larger system of solutions. Be able to architect optimal solutions within a price-to-win budgets. Developing the basis of estimate for the technical proposal, including:staffing plans, bills of material, performance measures, and risk assessments. Stay abreast of new and emerging hardware, software and communication technologies and products, services, methods and techniques, and the assessment of their relevance and potential value as business enablers, improvements in cost/performance or sustainability Understand and follow policies and procedures such as change management, project governance, configuration management, and release management.Understand Federal Cybersecurity standards, including NIST
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of experience and education; Minimum (10) years technical architecture experience preferably large enterprise solutions; Microsoft Office and SharePoint as collaboration and document management platforms. Excellent communication skills with high level of proficiency in business and technical writing, editing, and proofreading Ability to communicate at various levels of management including executives, project managers, technical personnel and client organizations effectively Demonstrated ability to translate complicated ideas into language easily understood by others Highly self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision Advanced expertise in a variety of technologies and products Experience with Agile and DevOps Certifications in Cybersecurity, Software Development, and Operations and Maintenance of IT. Able to pass a government background check and hold a DoD clearance, current clearance preferred
