Basic Qualifications

The successful IC (Intelligence Community) Account Manager will possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline along with the following:

  • 8+ years of direct customer interaction experience in support of the IC Community
  • Direct experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Familiarity with technical networking concepts
  • Familiarity with network security principles
  • Demonstrable skill of being highly organized and a self-starter
  • Advanced working knowledge of windows applications ( Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability/desire to travel domestically 40% of time
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Prior military experience or familiarity with the IC culture 
  • Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), a market leader and technology innovator, is seeking a talented Senior Level Account Manager to join our team, to focus on maintaining and growing GDMS' IC (Intelligence Community) customer base. In this role you will be responsible for leading account management efforts within the IC community. As a Senior Level IC Account Manager, your responsibilities will include the following tasks, but are not limited to:

  • Developing Strategic Plans for long-term sustained sales growth within the IC (Intelligence Community)
  • Opportunity Development, pursuit, and closure.
  • Grassroots Development, to include identifying major IC programs and organizations and growing GDMS customer intimacy
  • Scheduling site visits and teleconferences to present demonstrations, maintain accounts, and continued influence of future plans 
  • Please note that the position can be based out of our Fairfax, VA location or Annapolis Junction, MD location.
