As the Head of Global Public Sector Proposal Management, you will lead a team supporting Google Cloud’s Global Public Sector Sales and Engineering teams in creating RFX responses that demonstrate business value to customers. You'll work across numerous teams and time zones, leading and managing multiple RFX responses simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a proposal development organization by selecting, training, organizing, and developing a quality team. Set clear goals and objectives, monitor performance, provide frequent high-quality feedback, and support growth and development goals for staff.
  • Advise leadership on proposal development strategies and activities, ensure accurate and timely information exchange on proposal strategy and outcomes, and recommend shifts in the proposal development personnel's tactical direction.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales to optimize application of proposal development resources throughout the sales lifecycle, including early upstream engagement in the shaping and offering development process.
  • Develop an agile proposal development organization, with full spectrum capability supporting quick response task orders through large, complex government captures.
  • Institutionalize the proposal development process and provide for metrics-based dialog that ensures better proposals and focus on continuous improvement.

  • Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience managing the full lifecycle of proposals.
  • Experience working on multiple RFX responses at once.
  • Experience establishing go-no-go decision frameworks to prioritize responses and resources.
  • Experience developing a global proposal function supporting unique regional government nuances.

  • Preferred qualifications:

  • APMP Foundation Certification.
  • Experience working on non-US government RFXs.
  • Knowledge of government proposal procurement outside the US.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud products and services.
  • Project and Program Management skills.
