Human Resources Coordinator (Manassas, VA)

Manassas Health & Rehab Center, in Manassas, VA, has a career opportunity for an HR Coordinator to round out our team that is responsive, compassionate and caring to the needs of our patients, residents and their families.

Successful service excellence candidates will have the following qualifications and ability to:

    • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process of all new hires including post-offer/pre-employment screening (reference checks, drug tests, criminal history checks, OIG checks, etc.).

    • Conduct new hire orientation bi-weekly (or more often during periods of critical staffing needs).

    • Coordinate and ensure proper handling of employee requests in areas such as FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, and qualifying life event benefit changes.

    • Compile reports from payroll system as required.

    • Track employee performance review, license expirations, OIG, CPR, PPD, etc. to ensure all are being completed and processed within company, state, or federal guidelines.

    • Assist in management and recordation of in-service programs for center employees.

    • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback and suggestions to Administrator.

    • Maintain HR files

    • Provide guidance to leadership team and employees on employee relations related issues, concerns, etc.

    • Promote and demonstrate a culture of Service Excellence.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.



      Job Requirements:

      Qualifications:


      • A bachelor s degree and two years of Human Resources experience, OR

      • Five years of experience in the HR field, OR

      • Any similar combination of education and experience.

      • Demonstrated working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

      • Prior experience processing worker s compensation claims preferred.

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Work, Excel and Adobe.

      • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.

      • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

      • Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.

      • Must be flexible, detail-orientation, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and be able to make effective decisions and work as part of a service excellence team.
