Job Responsibilities:

  • The Proposal Writer will report to Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Prepare and distribute proposal outlines and updates as required 
  • Manage sales/marketing database in Access or ACT 
  • Review daily RFP leads and forward to all project leads 
  • Create and update database as new projects are completed 
  • Prepare status reports on marketing efforts
  • Track and manage incoming sub-contractor proposal materials 
  • Able to write,edit and customize proposal documents
  • Ensure delivery of proposal including hand delivery or late night delivery to FedEx location 
  • Proof read all proposal documents and edit revisions 
  • Prepare and distribute job orders as projects are won
  • Deeply involved with sales and marketing team on senior level
  • Any other duties assigned by the team
  • Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in journalism, English, writing or communications 
  • 5 years' experience writing proposals is a MUST 
  • Working knowledge of FAR and government proposal requirements is a MUST 
  • Expert level with Access,PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel Adobe and Acrobat are REQUIRED
  • Experience in exhibit industry is a PLUS
  • Able to work very well independently 
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Confidentiality is a must
  • Be able to assess situations to determine the urgency and make decisions that are best for the company 
  • Always be prepared and plan for high volume projects 
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize tasks to make sure things are done in time. Also, must be able to multi-task as needed
  • Available to work during normal business hours (8 am – 5 pm ET)
