The St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School Advancement Office is responsible for engaging, cultivating and soliciting over 7,000 constituents including alumni, current parents, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty and staff. As the school prepares for its next campaign, it seeks a Campaign Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, organizing and managing of the campaign. This position reports directly to the Chief Advancement Officer and is responsible for the project management of the campaign. The Campaign Manager will help set strategy and will execute all aspects of a multi-faceted, multi-year, multi-phased campaign. The position will work collaboratively within the Advancement team to ensure that all efforts in support of the campaign, including but not limited to, fundraising, volunteer management, special events, donor stewardship, communications, records, reporting, and research are coordinated and conducted with effectiveness and efficiency. This position is a full-time, twelve-month position.


A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in advancement, campaign management, or other relevant areas. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and collaborative skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. This individual should have excellent interpersonal and communications skills. The candidate should expect to work with the school's internal stakeholders, while maintaining strict confidentiality. The ideal candidate will also have some events experience. Other qualifications include: effective time management skills, proficiency with Google tools, knowledge of Raiser's Edge or other database preferred. Some evening/weekend event support work is expected.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support management of the Campaign through its various stages quiet, major gift and public phase
  • Collaborate with the Head of School's team, Chief Advancement Officer, Campaign leadership and outside counsel to continue to create and implement a strategic direction for the campaign
  • Record and maintain detailed notes for donors at all levels and support the cultivation and solicitation strategies for those individuals
  • Manage and regularly update the pipeline of individual campaign prospects in collaboration with the Senior Directors of Development and Advancement Services
  • Prioritize donors, conduct research, and draft communications, proposals, donor profiles and briefing memos for prospective campaign donors
  • Plan travel for Head of School and Chief Advancement Officer relative to campaign events and prospect visits
  • Assist with planning and executing campaign cultivation and recognition events
  • Support Campaign volunteer committees
  • Develop appropriate donor acknowledgment, recognition and stewardship platforms and ensure proper execution in partnership with the Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations
  • Provide necessary campaign updates and numerical analysis to volunteer and school leadership and continue to build a suite of relevant campaign reports, as necessary
  • In partnership with the Director of Communications, create campaign related materials
  • Maintain a comprehensive campaign timetable
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Advancement Officer
