The Sr Product Manager – Go to Market (GTM) China develops Chinese language support features into the various Domain related tools/services being offered by Verisign, improving the ease of deployment of the solutions and driving the operational scaling of the solutions. This person would be responsible for extending the current products into China and would be responsible for the full Go to Market Strategy for the China launch of these products. The ability to travel is a must.
Significant player of the team using the Agile development process in partnership with engineering to deliver compelling Chinese language capabilities on time, with scope and high quality. Ability to independently execute the Chinese language roadmap by working in conjunction with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Account Management, Legal, Finance and other departments within the company.
Identifies Chinese language and market trends, buying behaviors based on past experience(s), market research and other resources. They will have a deep understanding of Chinese internet markets and can develop action plans to apply insight to overall product strategy and roadmaps.
Creates, maintains and updates Chinese language user guides, technical FAQ's, quick start guides and other customer facing technical collateral.
Works with the engineering team to create a Chinese language neutral network for optimal recommendations.
Researches, explores and recommends optimal data sources to increase results relevance for the Chinese market.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
Graduate degree in Computer Science preferred.
12 years of experience in product management/product development required.
Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and excellent understanding of social media (and other) platforms in the Chinese markets.
